Characteristics of the product: PROTHION XTRA is a foliar fungicide with systemic and mesossystemic action, composed of three active ingredients that act on different sites in fungal metabolism. Prothioconazole belongs to the triazole group and acts as a demethylation inhibitor. Trifloxystrobin belongs to the strobilurin group, which inhibits the quinol oxidation site (Qo). Bixafen is a carboxamide that acts as a succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor. It is effective against fungi that have developed resistance to conventional fungicides. Due to the mode of action of its active ingredients, it can be used both preventively and curatively.
